Just Wing It started as a food truck and grew into a brick-and-mortar spot at 117 Backstreet in downtown West Jefferson, North Carolina — where two food cultures and one great idea came together.
Started on wheels
In 2022, Just Wing It hit the road as a food truck, slinging wings and building a loyal following one order at a time.
Two food cultures, one kitchen
One founder brought the wing traditions of Buffalo, NY; the other brought the warmth of the Blue Ridge foothills. The result is a menu that feels both classic and completely at home in the mountains.
A permanent home on Backstreet
At 117 Backstreet, the kitchen finally had a real home — a full bar, a dining room, and house-made ranch and blue cheese dressings that guests still call out by name.
Built for the High Country
Just Wing It has become a regular stop for Ashe County locals and High Country visitors alike — a come-as-you-are bar and grill where great food, cold beer, and the game are always on.
